Aminata Diallo is an Associate at GBAO, where she works on survey research, client presentations, and focus groups. In 2020, Aminata worked on independent expenditures in key congressional districts and Democratic campaigns across the country, including Rev. Raphael Warnock’s historic Senate campaign in Georgia. In addition to campaign work, Aminata has collaborated with organizations like the Center for American Progress, Third Way, and the E Pluribus Unum Fund.

Prior to joining GBAO, she interned at the Center for American Progress with the National Security and International Policy team, where she researched a range of domestic and foreign policy issues, including those related to election security around the globe.

Aminata graduated cum laude from Smith College with bachelor’s degrees in Government and African Studies. During her time at Smith, she focused on international relations and the politics of sub-Saharan Africa. Examining artistic expression as forms of protest and resistance across the African continent was her primary field of interest.
